Setting Up Your Wallet
Set up Arbitrum on MetaMask
CAP currently lives on Arbitrum, a layer 2 network that runs on Ethereum. To connect to CAP, you'll need to configure your Web3 wallet to connect to Arbitrum. The instructions below are for MetaMask and are similar for most other wallets.
Configure Automatically
Go to arbiscan.io.
Scroll to the bottom and click on "Add Arbitrum One Network".
This will add a network configuration to your MetaMask wallet, allowing you to connect to Arbitrum One (Arbitrum's mainnet).
Configure Manually
Alternatively, you can add Arbitrum One manually in MetaMask's network settings:
Network Name: Arbitrum One
RPC URL: https://arb1.arbitrum.io/rpc
Chain ID: 42161
Currency Symbol: ETH
Block Explorer URL: https://arbiscan.io
Bridge funds to Arbitrum
To start trading, pooling, or staking, you'll need to bring over some ETH, USDC, WBTC, and/or CAP from Ethereum into Arbitrum. This is known as bridging.
Bridge ETH or USDC
The quickest way is to use a bridge protocol like:
Bridge CAP
You can use Arbitrum's official bridge to bridge CAP.
